Carolina Mantis

Stagmomantis carolina

Description:

I'm wondering if this is the same female I spotted on Sept 11. *Note I forgot to upload these so this Mantis was spotted Sept 15. in the pic in the notes, it looks like you can almost see that brown spot that's on the back of this one... so I wonder if she laid her ootheca and then showed back up on the deck. She wasn't looking so hot when I found her and looked like she fell out of a tree after a rainstorm. I moved her to the potted plant and she was gone the next morning.

Habitat:

West central ga.
