Sphyraena forsteri
We were diving at daybreak, just as the sun was penetrating into the depths at 50', and encountered a school of barracuda. Although fierce looking, they are passive towards divers. One can swim through a school, and they will part to let you through, and otherwise go their way. Pacific barracuda are smaller than their Caribbean Atlantic counterparts...these are 3 to 3 1/2'.
Indo-Pacific ocean...these were encountered in Palau.
