Description:

Black dung beetle with a slender eye slits when examined from the dorsal view. Long hind legs and texture of the pronotum and elytra appear smooth until examined inter a microscope.

Habitat:

Found in a pitfall baited with human dung. Pitfall was set up in a wooded area.
