Black-Chinned Hummingbird

Archilochus alexandri

Description:

As per photos. As best I can tell...this is a Black-Chinned Hummingbird. As with many hummers I photo, it is very hard to differentiate some. I am open to suggestions if anyone disagrees. She (I believe this is a she) was very cooperative as I took photos, and pretty much acted like she owned the flower

Habitat:

This was taken in Palm Desert...a part of the Mojave Desert in California.
