Unknown spotting

Description:

Swamp grass with interesting seas pod.

Habitat:

Wet, low light, rich soil.

Notes:

This type of grass is all over but I'd never seen the seeds before. Anyone know what it is?

Tough to tell from the picture, but I would guess it may be a sedge, Carex genus.
