live in my outside laundry room.
I was thinking the same as you, I might change the ID into Phyllurus platurus.
I've done a bit of research on this and what i've found is that leaf-tailed gecko is a name given to both the phyllurus platurus and the Saltuarius swainii even though they are two different geckos. From google images alone yours looks more like the phyllurus platurus see photo here ( http://www.ddreptiles.net/caresheet_plat... ), but i couldn't be 100% on that. Either way thanks for adding it to my mission!
Hi Alice, your Gecko looks so much nicer. What a beautiful eyes it has. I just found out that they also called "broad-tailed gecko, and the scientific name is: Phyllurus platurus. So which one is the correct name? I am a bit confused now.See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broad-taile...
Great spotting! Isn't it amazing how different he looks from this leaf tailed gecko i spotted? I wonder why that is http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/128...
