Eustixia pupula
The Spotted Peppergrass Moth, Eustixia pupula, is a moth with its own genus, and a beautiful moth which looks like a dalmatian. It is in the family Crambidae. Its Latin name, Eustixia pupula, means Pupil Eustixia, most likely referring to the small, black, pupil-like markings. First spotting of the species on Project Noah.
Larvae feed on leaves of plants in the mustard family such as Peppergrass (Lepidium spp.), Field Pennycress (Thlaspi arvense), and Cabbage.
