Description:

Very attractive flowers with wide-spreading petals and conspicuous projecting stamens and style. Calyx inflated, reddish, hairy. Leaves divided to about two-thirds into 5-7 broad lanceolate lobes which are pinnately cut or toothed.

Habitat:

Woodland (2000 m altitude).
