This Garter Snake was one of my favorite finds of 2013, despite finding many others before it. It's light color and small spotted pattern is relatively unique, at least when compared to the average variations I usually see in the same area. It was hiding under a sheet of wood under my deck, and I saw it 3 or 4 more times in the week afterwards.
