Description:

Tawny orange coat with broad black stripes; underpart white; white patches around eyes and cheeks; back of each ear is black with a white spot on it; ears are rounded and small; large round eyes, forward facing; whiskers are long; nose pad is flesh coloured; long slim tail with bands of black rings; the colour of the tiger coat varies across the globe. Photo was taken at Kanha Tiger Reserve, MP - India

Habitat:

In, India - widely distributed from tropical dry/moist-deciduous, evergreen and riverine forest

Notes:

Hind limbs are much longer than the forelimbs.
