Brown Anole

Anolis sagrei

Description:

I looked out of the right front window, that's at the front of my house, and I spotted a small reptile, resting on one of the outside walls. This reptile, was about one and one half of an inch long. The color of this reptile, is different shades of brown and gray. Anoles eat a wide variety of insects, spiders, and other invertebrates.

Habitat:

Brown anoles, are generally less arboreal, ( living in trees ), and are usually found on the ground, or in low vegetation. Brown anoles, thrive in almost any habitat, and are abundant in suburban or even urban areas.

Notes:

I spotted this small reptile, resting on one of the outside walls, during the afternoon.
