Yes Tree Frogs feed on Lizards and many insects.
Saskia... we have net and find all this through it... I am from India... but tell you what it look alike. Jonathan and Sergio are Rangers from your area who might confirm exact genus.

Ashish, I am sorry, I am reseraching right now, I was relying on what I was told. The owner of the house where we stayed said that it was a toad, but probably you are right, it is a frog and still feeds on geckos?

This one has physical characteristics of Hylidae family.

@Ashish: I am afraid, its not a frog, but a toad that was actually feeding on frogs and geckos. He came out a night.

Isn't this is a Tree Frog...? I find most of Tree frogs have such rounded finger points.
