Wild Onion

Allium canadense

Description:

These fragrant plants tend to grow in clusters and have pretty purple flowers.

Habitat:

These were found along a shady creek at Anthony Lakes in the Wallowa Whitman National Forest in Eastern Oregon.

Notes:

We actually harvested a few and cooked them with chicken for dinner. It was delicious!
