Just one comment - I have left the Scientific name field blank as that field is reserved for Genus + species only, as per our FAQs. The Scientific name field is used for searching as it is the only reliable identifier for many species. With this in mind I would ask you not to make ID suggestions which do not include at least Genus as for those using mobile apps this auto fills the field with whatever is put in there and this can cause confusion for the search engine. Please only use the comments section for scientific names above genus level.
We are hoping for more funding in the future so that we can rewrite the programs to include extra fields for the higher levels amongst other improvements and remain compatible with current technology.
