Description:

An immature Green Heron spotted in the central wetland area at Huntley Meadows Park. This individual was stalking dragonflies ... unsuccessfully. The heron's hackles are raised in Photos 1-2, indicating it is either angry or frustrated. (The idiom "get your hackles up" means "to get angry.")
