Ascocoryne sp

Description:

Fits well to the description of Ascocoryne sarcoides... at first looks like a small drops, later on taking a form of a cup. Biggest cup barely over 1 cm in diameter. Dark purple or brown in color. Grows in small groups on dead log.

Habitat:

Town park, edge of wooded area, growing on a dead log, exposed to sunlight. Foothills of Jura mountains.
