Pingasa subpurpurea
A medium-sized moth that camouflages fairly well against the bark of pine trees, try spotting it in the last photo. Pingasa subpurpurea is one of the smallest species of its genus in Borneo. Pale greenish gray in color.
This species usually lives in lowlands but this individual is an exception, living up here in the Kundasang highlands, Sabah.
