Orange striped ribbon snake

Thamnophis proximus proximus

Description:

long slinder snake, two dots on the top of the head orange stripe running from the head to the tail tip. Only handle snakes if you are aware of the species first and know it will not harm you there are many species of venomous snakes that look similar to non-venomous snakes and a bite is costly and sometimes even fatal.
