Description:

One of the smaller tyrant flycatchers, the Social Flycatcher is found throughout the neotropics. It is, as its name suggests, social. It is found mainly in open areas, and feeds with the normal flycatcher behavior of sallying out from a perch to snatch up insects in flight.
