Description:

Small Australian Finch, multi-coloured (this version has the black head), stout short beak of seed eating bird.

Habitat:

This one a captive bred bird from a breeder in NSW. Natural habitat is mostly grassland country in far north Queensland, Northern Territory and far north west WA/Kimberley region.

Notes:

Hope to see birds in the wild this year.
