Cosmophasis Jumping Spider (♂)

Description:

This is a jumping spider that i found on the tree in my backyard. This one is a male spider. It has complex iridescent markings on the dorsal and lateral cephalothorax, and on the lateral femora of all legs. It also has silvery white lines on the abdomen. The size of this spider is about 6 - 8 mm in length. Here is the female one - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/143....

Habitat:

- Spotted on Bougainvillea tree in my garden. Usually, it can be found on plants that are exposed to sunlight during later morning and early afternoon.

Notes:

- This spider is from the family of Salticidae (jumping spiders). This spider occurs from India to Sumatra. Thanks to Atul for the ID.
