Description:

It measures 18cm in length. Bird of extraordinary physical beauty and sound. For these features is a bird hunted much. There is no sexual dimorphism. Immature brownish, with tuft ferrugíneo.

Habitat:

Occurs in the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul was introduced in Southeastern Brazil, mainly in São Paulo.
