Cosmosoma auge, Poecilosoma chrysis, Cosmosom telephus, Cosmosoma teuthras
Cosmosoma auge, Poecilosoma chrysis C. telephus and C. teuthras. I was able to prove that moths are toxic, a lizard snatched up a Cosmosoma, and spat immediately. I believe that they can acquire impalatability beyond the flowers of some toxic plants.
Moths of the Erebidae family. All found in urban yard.
I'm sad because in the moth week we do not have many moths in Brazil, because it's winter. So I can not really cooperate with NMW.

Oops.. then there's Indonesia too !!
We southerners should start our own moth week. Between south America, Africa, Australia we could put on a very good show.
Kel, the rule for Moth Week is that spottings must be submitted during the official week (this year July 21-29), but photographs can be from any other time of the year, and even from previous years. So maybe you have some images in your backlog?
Also, this year we have extended the date to get the patch to Aug. 5th, to make sure no one is missing out.
Four, beautiful, wasp moths....
Four, beautiful photos....
