David v Goliath

Apricia jovialis

Description:

I finally found out what these small chubby jumping spiders eat.
Much bigger spiders. If this isn't accidental then it looks a very sensible choice of bite site. Once committed I guess they just hang on and hope.
Reminiscent of the weasel on the woodpecker.

Habitat:

Under the eaves of a pavilion in a local sports reserve.

Notes:

Was called 'Breda jovialis'.

It just seems a bit greedy Marta... unless it's inviting some friends for dinner.

Thanks for all the comments and likes.
@FG not that hard to get because after an initial struggle they both just froze and waited while the venom took effect.
