White Flannel Moth

Description:

Incredible little white moth with an exuberant hair style! The antennae were bright yellow-orange and the underside of the head black and grey. The moth was about 1 cm long. Family Megalopygidae, the Flannel Moths.

Habitat:

On the window of a restaurant, which allowed a picture of the underside, Village of Estación Chontalapa, Tabasco.

Thanks Mark, yes one antenna was under the wing. Looks like a male.
