Two-colored Bolete

Baorangia bicolor

Description:

Convex, velvety, red cap that was about 4 cm diameter. Yellow pores. The stipe was yellowish near the apex and had red streaks on the bottom half. Cap bruised blue when handled. The flesh did not bruise.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in a meadow - but, in the shade of a huge oak tree.
