Thank you, Tukup you have been very kind...three species got their names back thanks to you. I am so happy you enjoyed seeing the pretty damselflies...I have a few other colourful damselflies ...I have discovered their beauty pretty recently I must confess.

I see both the links I sent open to the same page. The second didn't save the enlargement. It is the 3rd down on the left side that mirrors yours. Again, thanks for sharing this photo. I never dreamed those colors existed in damselflies.

Hi Sukanya. Boy these things are beautiful. Green, black and blue. I'm pretty sure they are Ishnura. According to the list on the left side of the page linked below, looking at colors and distribution (box at top of page), I narrowed it down to Ishnura rubilio or Ishnura senegalensis. I believe the latter more closely resembles your picture. Especially the one in the second link below.
