Beaver

Description:

North American Beaver.

Habitat:

Creek originating in East Houston that is at the inlet to Brayes Bayou adjacent to Gus Wortham Golf Course. This is near the turning basin in Buffalo Bayou ship channel.

Notes:

Our dog, Border Collie mix of some sort, dove into the water, this brought up the beaver. It just floated around staring at us. I think possibly it didn't want it's home disturbed.
