Description:

Black and metallic blue damselfly, about 4-5cm in length. Euphaea refulgens Hagen in Selys, 1853 (family Euphaeidae, commonly known as Gossamerwings).

Habitat:

At the Makiling Botanic Gardens, a forest park of the Mt. Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (adjacent or within the UPLB-College of Forestry and Natural Resources), University of the Philippines at Los Baños, Laguna.
