Description:

Large waterbirds originally native to Australia and New Zealand. They have all black plumage with white flashes on their wings, quite long necks, red beaks, red or yellow legs and feet.

Habitat:

Coastal and near inland waterways. These ones were in a coastal national park which contains a very large lake system. Fresh to brackish water.
