Burrowing frogs mating

Description:

Only emerging to eat and mate when significant rain falls, these burrowing frogs are rarely seen in the red center. The frog digs a burrow(backwards) up to a meter deep and maintain moisture by slowing down respiration and keeping iquid within in their bladder

Habitat:

In the flooded swimming pool of our resort

Notes:

Such a rare occasion that the full sized buses were swerving in the streets trying to not hit them as they sought water and the plumber hired to drain the pool was wading in the pool with his camera to get shots of them
