Apple Snail Eggs

Description:

pink clusters of eggs. each measuring 2-3mm. found by a freshwater body. above the water on roots and plant structures.

Habitat:

fresh water lake

Notes:

Apple snail eggs are coated in a protective layer of protein that protects them from the sun and the air. They are also poisonous to predators if ingested, hence the pink colour warning.
