Harlequin Beetle

Acrocinus longimanus

Notes:

I was inspecting an hidroelectric powerplant and saw antennae and really huge insect legs comming from behind a pipe. At first I though it could be an amblipigid. But I soon discovered a species that I wanted to see since I started taking pictures. This was a great surprise as I saw not just one but two harlequin beetles.
