Description:

All-brown moth with spots on forewings; about 3 to 4 cm in length.

Habitat:

Common european species. Seen inside our apartment, close to forest and pastures, but also to the town center. Lowlands around lake Geneva (lac Leman); just in between the Jura mountain range and Alps.

Notes:

Sorry for bad quality of photos N°2 and 3 - they were quickly snapped by a phone camera, second time this fella was seen yesterday....
