Braconid wasp

Description:

This tiny red bodied wasp is hunting. The leaves below are attached and contain the caterpillar of a moth. It stopped afrer some pacing around and placed an egg through the leaf with her ovipositor.

Habitat:

Suburban park eucalyptus sapling.

Notes:
