Great blue heron

Description:

The heron is shaking its body to dry off its feathers after it eats a meal. Pics 2-5 I believe it is eating a sculpin which is one the Great blue herons favorite fish to eat. Pic 6 it has caught dessert.

Habitat:

Estuary waters of the nisqually river at the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.
