Asclepias currassavica
Brightly red and yellow/orange flowers on a long green stem. Its leaves are somewhat long, slender, and pointed.
Observed in a shady semi moist area on edge of a Cypress dome. This location was also in a primarily pasture land of a County nature Preserve.
This is a non native plant and more likely from South America rather than Mexico.
