Lamprima aurata (female)
About 2.4cm long. Metallic blue, with red head and pointy protruding mandibles; next to the blue, yellow, green, orange, red can also be seen, depending on light. The thorax is covered in tiny dimples, appearing to have a rougher surface than the elytra.
Found drowning in a bucket after some heavy rain, in an area of farmland interspersed with patches of tropical rainforest.
