Thank you Neil, I have no idea what this is either. It was crusty and fragile, but it was the dry season and maybe they were old and drying up. Which one is yours? Link?

I would be very interested to know what this species is. I found similar fungus, although mine had a blue tint. What was the texture like, Lauren? I've drawn a blank on trying to ID my spotting.
