Cantabrican morning glory

Description:

About 40cm tall herbaceous plant, with alterne and lanceolate leaves, and pale pink flower.

Habitat:

Native and widespread in Mediterranean region, in particular in coastal regions. Here, observed in Krka NP, on sandy slopes bordering pathways. The park itself is in the place where river Krka forms a series of waterfalls and lakes; it is surrounded by a magnificent dense broad-leaved forest, and its shallow coastal waters are rich in vegetation.
