Stenurella melanura
The adults grow up to 6–10 mm. The head, pronotum and abdomen are black, while elytra are reddish with a black colored tip. They can be found from May through September. Their life cycle takes two years. Very common flower-visitors, feeding on pollen and the nectar. Larvae develop in rotten wood of deciduous and coniferous trees
