Description:

Hump-nosed Viper is responsible for the highest incidents of snake bites in Sri Lanka (~27%) with occasional fatalities though its venom is considered as moderate.

Habitat:

leaf litter, forest path

Notes:

i almost stepped on this snake when i was walking alone a forest path yesterday. took some photos and released.
