Field Bindweed

Convolvulus arvensis

Description:

This is a low-growing plant in the morning-glory family that is pretty, but a nuisance as it takes over other plants and topples them. It's seeds can remain viable in the soil for decades!

Habitat:

This was in a slightly marshy area where people aren't allowed to walk, so it was doing quite well.
