Silver Argiope (male)

Argiope argentata

Habitat:

fields, woods, gardens, parks.

Notes:

First time I notice the male Silver Argiope. Interesting to note: there were about 4 webs within a foot of each other. All had a male on the opposite side of the web as the female. Also all the females were smaller that the ones I usually notice, I don't know if that implies they were younger, or that when young the males and females are in close proximity as maybe a brew hasn't dispersed enough???
