Brown Anole

Anolis sagrei sagrei

Description:

At 6:30 p.m. in the evening, I looked out onto the outdoor patio, and I saw a dark reptile, resting on a ledge of a screen door. This dark reptile was very tame, as it did not move, when I took its photos. This dark reptile, allowed me to get inches away from it, so I was able to take a lot of close up photos of it. It stayed on this ledge, for about ten minutes, before it finally moved away, to a different location. If I didn't try to take its photo, it probably would have stayed on this ledge, for a very long time. The colors of this dark reptile, was dark and medium brown colors. The whole body of this dark reptile, was made up of dark and medium brown colors. This dark reptile, had a long tail.

Habitat:

I spotted this dark reptile, resting on a ledge of a screen door, that is attached to my outdoor patio.
