Anthophora sp.

Description:

Fuzzy bee with yellow face and thorax but a black and white abdomen. The eyes are green and the antennae are all black. Last image shows the abdomen well.

Habitat:

Deerweed in chaparral.

This is an Antophorid bee. Looks like Antophora genus, unfortunately Antophorid genus can be very similar, so the only way of been totally sure is with an stereoscope or with local specialist help
