Description:

A big and intimidating spider, but completely harmless. They built large nets, usually no more than 2 meters from the ground. (juvenile make the net near the ground) It has a big and long abdomen, commonly green with yellow spots. The upper side of the abdomen in the adults looks golden. The Order is Araneae, and the family Nephilidae

Habitat:

It was pictured in the Ribera Norte natural reserve in San Isidro. They could be found from Buenos Aires province to northern Argentina.
