Anartia jatrophae
Today, it was very, very, windy outside. Around 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon, I opened the front door, to look at the weather, and to feel the weather. As I opened the front door, I saw a beautiful butterfly, resting on the outside of the front door. There were also, two other butterflies, that were resting, on the left side of the front door, near the wall. Since it was very, very, windy outside, these three butterflies, found a safe area to rest, and away from the bad weather. Since it was very, very, windy outside, I only took some photos of the butterfly, that was resting on the outside of the front door. Then I went inside of my house, and I took some photos of the other two butterflies, that were resting, on the left side of the front door. ( On each side of the front door, is a large window. That is why, I was able to take some photos of the other two butterflies, from inside my house ). I waited about forty five minutes, to check on these three butterflies. I opened the front door, and all three butterflies were gone. All three butterflies have flown away, flying into this very, very, windy weather. It was still, very, very, windy outside. Caterpillar hosts: Water hyssop ( Bidens pilosa ), Ruellia, and Lippia. Phylum: Arthropoda Order: Lepidoptera Family: Nymphalidae
The White Peacock Butterfly, is a species of butterfly, found in the southeastern United States, Central America, and throughout much of South America. Open, moist areas such as edges of ponds and streams, along shallow ditches, weedy fields, and parks.
It was a very, very, windy day, and I spotted one butterfly, resting on the outside of the front door, and two butterflies, resting to the left of the front door. After about forty five minutes, I opened the front door, and all three butterflies, have flown away, flying into very, very, windy weather.
