Thanks EarlyStages for the reminder. I do have those books - though nothing I've ever wanted to ID has been in there so far! I have not checked to see if they cover ficus. Parson's Butterflies of PNG lists Ficus wassa, F. subulata, and F. robusta as foodplants.
Jeff, certainly not field guides, but a useful reference nevertheless for families treated thus far . . .

Its a young fig though I don't know which species. PNG is tough - basically no guide books for anything.
