Hemisaga sp (nymph)
About 2.5cm long, green with white lines behind the eyes, on head, thorax, and abdomen; two inverted red triangles on upper side of thorax and a red line down the centre of the abdomen; one red and white spot at the base of 2nd and 3rd leg pairs, plus red 'feet' and 'knees'.
Found on pumpkin flower in veggie patch, in coastal area with plenty of tea-trees (Melaleuca sp) near Peaceful Bay.
Pictures of sluggish katydids (Hemisaga sp) look somewhat similar.
